I would look at euro car parts or use this bloke on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400031887036 he was the cheapest and the part was orginal.

there are early/late type ones. The way to tell is to check the plug, if it is rectangular its early, if it has rounded ends its late:

ABF +Cat 08.92-12.94 Front 4 1000mm - 0 258 003 303 - VAG 021 906 265 C
ABF +Cat 01.95-12.97 Front 4 690mm  - 0 258 003 584 - VAG 037 906 265 S

Not that it really matters, you can get a universal sensor. With these you chop the old plug off and splice it to the new sensor using the supplied connector block.  The one you need is:
4 wire - 0258986506 (LS06)
Four wire sensor with 12 watt heater and grounded case

yeah as above one with plug on is stupid money for 16v

just buy a 4 wire zircona universal and put plug on to it, done mine last week works a treat and only 22 quid.
