Title: Its broke and wont start

90 spec kr
i took the ht lead of at the distributor and I have 12v at the end of the ht lead.

I removed the wires from the +15 side of the coil.

The black wire has 12v

The black and white wire is at 0v and also has another black going into the same spade connector.


I tested for continuity from the black and white wire at the coil to the fei and I have continuity.

The engine block has a good earth.

Should the black and white wire that is in a spade with a black wire be at 12v when unplugged from the coil?

While I was on I checked the injectors and they are fine.


Does this suggest the FEI unit is donald ducked?

Any spark at the plugs?

the black/white and black are power to the fei/tci from the coil, so they wont be at 12v when disconnected.  if when its all plugged in the fuel pump primes on 1st turn of kley this suggestys the fei is ok, butnot always.  pop the plug off and check for corrosion
