Title: help on lowering please!!
Post by: mr_quagmire on 06 June 2009, 12:32
just want some advice please guys!

Im in the process of converting my mates mk4 golf gti into an r32 replica. I dont know whether to buy the adjustable lowering kit (springs and shocks) or a standard 35mm or 40mm kit. The car will sit on 18's. I know its personal preference etc. on ride height, but what is the most I can drop it by on 18's with no rubbing. And can anyone see the advantages of getting a standard 35mm drop kit over getting an adjustable one were I can decide on the best ride height??

thanks
