Title: WOLFSBURG EDITION!!!!!1

Just wanted to know if the  VW mark4 Xreg comes as a Wolfsburg edition too?
I am looking to buy one but the guy is saying that it is a Wolfsburg edition and thats what it says on the steering wheel too.
he said its an import and has got extras that normal mark 4's don't have such as climate control,cruise control and some others.
So please could anyone who knows let me know.

He is talking through his aris mate. You can buy those badges all over the place don't be fooled it dose'nt mean anything. :smiley:

So are you 100% sure that the mk 4 doesnt come as a Wolfsburg edition?

I CHECKED THE LOGBOOK AND ON IT SAYS WOLFSBURG EDITION TOO?????
HE SAID WHOEVER TOLD U THEY DONT COME LIKE THAT DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT.
IT COMES WITH OETTINGER EXHAUST SYSTEM STANDARD AND CLIMATE PACK AND CRUISE CONTROL.
SP GUYS IM TOTALLY CONFUSED NOW SO HELP ME OUT PLEASE.
I NEED MORE GUYS WITH MORE INFO WITH MORE POSTS PLEASE.

get the chassis number, go to your local vw garage (parts dept), ask them to check on the vw mainframe.. this will definately tell you if wolfsburg edition..this will also tell you vw mainserce history aswell.. I can get the phone number for you if you need this..

I remember when the mk4 was released we did have a special edition (worked for vw press!!) and vagely remember it having other bits, it had german plates and was lhd but had different interior to the normal mk4 recaros etc..

well there's no "wolfsburg" edition listed on the worlds best golf resource http://www.doppel-wobber.de/wbb2/VW-Golf-4_Modelle.html (http://www.doppel-wobber.de/wbb2/VW-Golf-4_Modelle.html) and it lists every model name and spec vw officially made

There is no such thing as a Wolfsburg Edition for the MK4, he is talking sh!t and has just stuck on some badges.

Colour Concept? Often seen in this Peal Yellow colour. It didn't have German plates and was RHD.

ha ha, that link to clubgti where the guy says that the only difference he can see is the door pins ! Go to trim sport and get your limited edition door pins. :wink:

I've no idea if they did a Wolfsburg mk4, but I've never heard of it. Doesn't mean it doesn't exist though.
