Title: Outside air temp sensor - WHERE?!?

I posted this a while back but didnt really get help...
Now, on the MFA I dont get the outside air temp reading, it just skips it, from oil temp to clock.
I know its supposed to be behind the drivers side lower bumper air intake, but I cannot find it at all.

Where is it exactly, where do the wires run through? Pics of the sensor itself and of the length of the wireing and exactly where they go into would be perfect. Cheers guys.

Ditto... mine the bluddy same lol... well now and again it sometimes comes on, but the reading is completely wrong, like -40oc.... lol... I dont think so some how... I'd like 2 know how to solve this aswell :)

I only get the -40 reading when ive got the MFA in diagnostics mode, otherwise, not at all.

it should definitely be clipped into the drivers side lower bumper vent. Do you have an empty hole in it then?

no ive got the bumper air intakes, but when I bought the car, the intake vent on that side was missing.

ohh... the Vent in my bumper (passenger side) below fog lights is missing on mine.... is that where the air temp sensor should be? the drivers side is on and thats where i'm gunna run my air intake from.

doesnt really bother me tbh, but sometimes i just get curious as to what the outside temp is.

yeah i used to be the same. my vr's got it, but dnt know how accurate it is tbh

Mine reads higher then it is, i think its picking up the engine bay temp aswel, not very acurate at all
