My car was booked in today for the brake fluid change (£45.40) I was hoping it would stop the cause of my clonking/clicking/tapping/knocking noise when applying the brakes :undecided: but it has not. :lipsrsealed:
Maybe it's my corroded antiroll bar thats causing the noise?
On VW's visual check three faults.
Ribbed belt perished. Not TB.
Antiroll bar corroded.
Undertray damaged.
But this is the best bit of todays visit.
If i have the ARB replaced, then i'm going to need an "Optiline"...........lol er what.
Yes, its a four wheel alignment, hmmmmmmmmmmm just had that done a couple of weeks ago for £43
I had to ask how much that would cost. Good job i was sitting down!!!! It will take about 2 hours and be £135-ish
Whether she gave me the price for fitting the ARB + the Optiline i'm not sure, or if that price is just for the Optiline.

To fit the ARB they will drop the subframe, that's why it would need aligning after, did the £135 cover the new arb, bushes, fitting and alignment? As the ARB is coming up as £80 on ETKA.
