Title: Almost GTi owner so hello :)

Hiya, I sold my silly renault last week and have had my eye on too GTI's, and I think im gonna go out and get one today :) Just wondered if anyone has any advice. The one I have seen is a MK3 16v. Its a japanese import though and I dont know much about them. Any ideas? It's 1700 with 80k miles. nice little 5 door. Is servicing and tuning etc etc the same on these? thanks :)
