Title: Heated Wing Mirrors
Post by: THiNK on 05 June 2009, 08:11
Some twit decided I didn't need a passenger side wing mirror this morning. As a result mines now cracked and needs replacing.

There are two wires that I'm guessing control the heat, but do they have to go on in a particular way?

Thanks,

CS

I've just found this : http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?&id=4099628

But it doesn't mention what side the wires go if they were not attached to start with.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers,

CS

it doesn't actually matter, it's just a continuous current across the elements

it was nice before I binned it a few weeks ago

I'm currently looking at new fairings for it, might go with a single seat conversion and this design
