Title: Throttle body sensor
Post by: Len on 04 June 2009, 09:31: I believe this is the cold start mechanism!

It broke off in my hands!

Have stuck it back on but looks to be in wrong position! That orange bit is the piston.
The car starts so do I need to do anything?

Need a breather hose from manifold to air cleaner and it looks different! But then its totally out of stock anyway! So thats a deffo scrappy item!

Post by: rubjonny on 04 June 2009, 13:46: yeah have to watch out for those bits as the abf inlet/isv/breather piping changed on the later years. the breather diagram in particular is completly wrong for an abf its all 8v in the pics!

And give it a good polish up! :wink:

Car was fine today - idled fine both hot and cold.
