Title: This sensor???
Post by: Len on 04 June 2009, 09:29
Take a look at this!
I believe it to be the "choke" mechanism! Well as far as there is a choke on injected cars!
I decided to clean the throttle body yesterday and when refitting the connector in came off in my hand!
It seemed to clip back on but is not secure! Have superglued it back now but looking at photo that little orange bit I believe is the piston so it maybe back in wrong place!
Car has just started.

Advice please.

as per other thread, idle switch. it should click just as throttle is shut.

Well going out later so will see how car performs!
Have stuck it back on with superglue and if it is in wrong position I guess it will break up when I try and remove it again! Bummer!

Well I been to Volksmania and got another throttle body!
That sensor is definitely in the wrong position! But hey car works!

Gonna smooth off and polish the "new" throttle body then do a swap!
