I need some new car mats the drivers is fooked. Seen a few in eBay but the pics make them look a little cheap. Not sure what they're like in the flesh.
What are the oem options? What are the costs?
Will ed30's fit my 2005? I have the oval stud fastner on the floor (the one you twist to secure).
Can anyone post a quick pic of their own please. I think I'd like a flash of red somewhere to match the car and the gulfrests that are currently sitting in my local post sorting office.

I have the VW rubber ones. I like the feel of rubber underfoot. Easy maintenance too, just hose it down.

Bobo do these have a VW logo on them? or GTI?
Would be nice if the pattern matched the honeycomb grill.... any pics?

"rubber under foot" :snigger:
I'm after some mats too - got some profile ones in mine now that just don't fit despite cutting em down to size. Would like OEM, but U can't justify £80 on mats - takin the p1ss tbh

I think a wee tripette to the dealer is in order...quite fancy the red piping of the ed30s to match my gulf stuff and my car, but I've heard that the quality is not there. Yours look bombproof bobo....I had similar on my mini...and they just wash up like new every time...maybe a good idea actually, thanks.

Can you but replacment fastners please ?.One of mine is broke,(top twist bit is missing ?).

I used to have beemer, pretty sure that the anchors screwed into the carpet. However I think the VW ones are fixed via a stud, could be a lift the carpet job
Are ed30 mats oval (older) or stud (newer) fittings?
Think I will call the dealer in a while and see what they've got, I am in be good to myself mood this week.....
-
There the oval type & look like they screw in to the carpet.
-
I've got the rubber mats with 'GOLF' on them. The quality of them is superb, and you can pressure wash them clean which is great if they get muddy.
Cost about £60 a set I think, although I got the stealer to chuck em in when I bought the car.

Does anyone have a spare clip (like the one in the picture on the first page ) they no longer need ?.Thanks in advance.
