A mate of mine has had a mouse in their engine bay and its chewed a hole in a part.  :embarassed:
Please can someone tell me what part this is? (circled in red)

After surfing the net for hours, finally found it

Charcoal canister purge regulator valve N80

VW stealers:  £75  :shocked:
