guys driving my vr past few days and iv noticed that my sterring wheel wobbles side to side on straight streches, can some1 tell me what is the prob,
is it my anti roll bar links and the arm they are attached to coz im going to change the arm next week
thanks

Could be camber and tracking.
-
mine was a pain when i lost a wheel weight!
-
more than likely to be tracking
-
tracking doesnt usually cause wobbling that much, causes it to pull a lot though! I would say you need your wheel balence checked! might have a buckled alloy? I had a bad buckle but with loads of weights it got better.
-
I have this on my polo, going to get my wheels balenced i think!
If you car is pulling to one side when the steering wheel is straight then that would mostly be the tracking.
-
its not pulling to anyside it just wobbles very excessivly i might have it balanced again just to be sure
-
Check your track rod ends and steering arms are ok

My money's on the wheels being out of balance

+1, mine did this, got 4 new tyres and all the balancing done and it was perfect. Any speed and no wobble now.
-
Do you mean the wheel wobbles as in vibrates, or as in there is play and you can woble it without effecting the steering?
As im not sure we are all on the same page here.
-
it vibrates very badyly left and right
-
out of balance then, you've probably lost a weight on the wheel, mine does it slightly but im waiting til i get sum new wheels and hope it stops.
