I currently need to replace my drivers wing mirro indicator, the light works just the lens is cracked and has condensation, seen here:

Now VW wouldnt replace under warranty as the "frost" got to it so to replace it will cost from a dealer:
Part and fitting (20 minutes Labour)- £48
Part only - £17
Or do I catch this mod bug and go with something else? for example smoked ones as my GTi is black I think it would look good:

Any other alternatives?

I would choose the smoked ones on a dark car.

Im swaying towards getting the smoked, anyone know best place to get them from. Ebay has none, can only find awesome online shop that has any, the rest are overpriced US ones (in-pro ??)
Awesome ones:

Yip, if those people found that a difficult job they shouldn't be in charge of a motor vehicle ....or be allowed sharp things or laces/string etc
