Title: May be switching to the derv side
Post by: alex160 on 01 June 2009, 21:26
Have had a very good px offer on my gti golf 1.8 20v non turbo. Have been offered near enough a straight sway for a gt tdi 130 model. has all the toys such as climate control, cruise control, sunroof etc etc. Only has 79,000 miles on the clock, fsh etc. Is in the good old reflex silver aswell. Will miss my 18" RS alloys though if i do swap, but want something quicker as the 1.8 non turbo is soooo slow, i really feel for the 2.0 owners.

Got to ask whats wrong with the tdi? it's worth a fair bit more then a 1.8 non turbo, sounds like it could be a good deal though :afro:

If all is well with the TDI will be a bargain. Now ive got the quad and will be getting a 700 soon I wouldnt rule out having a diesel for what im gonna be using it for its only gonna be when its freezing cold or I have gotta go somewhere with the missus or need more than one seat.

well very disapointed as the bloke has decided to stick with his tdi

So this means spending some more cash on my motor to make me feel better lol, have ordered my new MAF meter, rocker head gasket, am thinking about wheel spacers, german plates and getting myself some iridian spark plugs and some new ht leads to go with them, may bring my pussy 1.8 20v to life slightly.
