Title: alpine head unit help!

i bought this from ebay:

and went to put it in my car, it is almost brand new by the looks of it.

i put it in and it did not work, so i checked all the wires and found the black earth wire on the plug in the back of the stereo to be not connected properly so i changed the earth for another one and it worked fine.

went to the back of the car to connect some 4x6 speakers to the shelf supports and then went back to try them, and the stereo would not come on at all!

took it back out and all the wires look fine? the fuse is not blown?

confused.....................

when you say fuse is not blown, is that the one  in the back of the stereo or the one in the car fuse box?

well its actually in a small gery box attatched to the wires which came with the stereo, i have a stereo working in the car at the mo so it cant be the car? :smiley:
