Looks very clean. Great choice, identical to mine ;)

Get rid of the silly dealer sticker in the back though.

Be careful not to remove the heater element.

LOL - hadn't actually noticed!! But yes, the altitude of the holder is so high it needs oxygen to sustain lifeforce!!

Will be moving it down (and removing the dealer sticker  )

Dan :)

Hey, your car looks great ! I too have a black 3 door mk5 GTI like yours ! I want to keep the paint as good as yours. How do you do the maintenance on the paint and wheel?

To add: Black GTI is the prettiest GTI !

Trying a few things at the moment - the BEST thing I bought was a lambswool wash mitt.

The worst thing? Microfibre cloth. It's sh1t. Sorry not convinced. It's nowhere near as good as a good chamois leather. I understand the concept behind it, but still not impressed. Besides, it's all about keeping the drying cloth CLEAN.

Washing agent is NXT carwash, although I've also bought some DODO juice Sour Power.

also got some NXT polish (Deep Crystal)

Wax is PoorBoys Nattys Paste Wax Blue & Meguiars Wax Liquid.

I want to get some snowfoam (just because it looks a larf!!)

Can't remember what my wheel stuff is though

Mods.....
Well firstly have to let the bank balance recover! Lol!
But looking at -
New stereo and speakers. Disappointed that my iPod won't work with the cable I've bought.
Will look at a temp connects to box or a harmon kardon drive&play.
Also putting in my sub as per the handy FAQ

Smoked wing mirror repeaters
Miltek or somthing else - like the thought of doing something different
Light breathing mods
Tint film (light smoke) on rears
Eventually monza 2. these wheels have brand new boots on em
so will wait.
Intrigued with the vwr stage 1 motor & handling pack too

Not too much really as it's pretty sorted as a car.
