i must be doing something wrong as i find this crap and it barely lasts a week :undecided:

Don't drive your car!
I applied it to my car two weeks ago and the gel is still just about detectable. What I do is wash the tyres (even if just to apply gel), dry them. I then apply gel but don't wipe off the excess - just let the tyres absorb the gel. Then do another coat several hours later. I used megs endurance stuff but I like turtlewax nano-tech tyre gel. Smells gorgeous.

AG Instant Tyre Dressing.
Spray it on even when the tyres are wet, and leave for as long as poss to dry.
Wipe the overspray off your wheels with some detail spray to stop the brake dust sticking to it.

The cleaner the wheels to start with the better. Get scrubbing!! Then I paint the gel on with a small paint brush and agitate it slightly into the tyre details. Last about two washes for me.

poorboys natural look - i am not a fan of shiny tyres :undecided:

Rhys,
You need some of this mate http://www.autoglym.com/enGB/product-proddetail.asp?v06VQ=LD&Range=3
It's oil based so last longer and protects the tyres at the same time plus any water is repelled so the finish lasts for a long time. A can of it isn't cheap at around £35 but it will last you years. Can't normally get it in shops but the Autoglym man at shows normally has it :afro:

Auto Glym tyre dressing gives a really deep glossy finish if you put plenty on.
