Title: TT comps on a mk3

Just bought a set of these but they have 225 45 17 rubber on them so I'm guessing they won't fit.

I've searched a bit on this but can't find a definite answer.... What size tyres do I need?

Both the above sizes are correct, 205/40/17 will keep the gearing as it should be but the narrower ones can help with clearance.

Thanks guys. I'm not looking to go too low so I reckon 205s should get the job done.

im also looking at tt comp (when i find a decent set)let me know how u get on with the tyre size please
i take it  225/45 R17 91W wont fit then

I have 205/40/17's on the front and 215/40/17's on the rear  :cool:

like said before 205/40 will be fine. i had 195/40 on my 17's, but my car is quite low and i needed the extra clearance

Or put on with the recomended tyre size from audi. But even if i owned a mk4 i wouldnt go for that size surely!?

its the size i got on my RS4's fitted to my mk4.
