Title: 'SCOOBYGOLF'!!!
Post by: annekarob on 29 May 2009, 18:18
Hi people, just a quickie but wondered if anybody had any contact details for member 'scoobygolf' please? Paid him some money into his account about 3 weeks ago now for some lowering springs and had nothing sent, hardly any satisfactory replies to questions asked and think im being fobbed off???

Somebody please help or anybody know him please give him a nudge or pass on his phone number if possible so i can speak to the elusive man in question!!!!!

If you're reading this either send the f***ing springs or refund my money. Either way dont keep ignoring the issue cos i wont let it lie!!

Rob

Its getting a joke lately more and more people getting ripped off on different forums i use how did you pay if its cheque or bank transfer not much you can do as i have been scammed before.i always use paypal if i can at least you get your money back if items not sent.
hope you get it sorted.

he wanted a bank transfer but instead i deposited the money straight into his account rather than risk my own account details. Said id prefer paypal but he didnt want to pay fees etc. I think he's been on here a while now and to be fair i am getting some replies back but not very convincing ones.

im not sure, il keep going till i get somewhere, think i may have a landline number for him from directory enquiries so il give that a bash. know what you mean about scammers, dont know how they do it, no consience i suppose?

Paypal won't give you any money back if there's nothing in their account, just ask the lads over on ukmkivs with reference to Ryan GTI. They didn't believe me until Paypal wouldn't refund them

I bidded on Ebay for a couple of pairs of Cobra evos and won both sets.  The guy selling them was selling quite a few different colours and sizes so I thought nothing iffy so paid over £700 for both pairs.  I thought, play it safe and paypal with credit card - double protection.  Not so.  Credit card wouldn't refund because they said it was an authorised transaction and paypal only returned about 40% because, as said previously, his account was zero balance.

Lesson learnt.

If it has only been a week it is a bit early to say you have been scammed.

6 days since you paid for it, 2 of them have been a weekend.

I have pm'd him and await a response, just like on the other topic you've started this is now locked.
