ok just sum questions i got

when towing a car does the car been towed need to be insured

also can I get insured for 1 day or for a couple of hours
if so how much is this roughly

because they is a golf goin on here i want and its in manchester
n i want it off the road for a couple of month

and also how easy is it to do timing

i'd assume that any car rolling along a road needs to be taxed and insured.

insurance short term might be pricy.


another option could be to use a trailer?

probably cost as much to hire one as it would to insure etc..

i got insured on my bosses merc for ?40 for 24 hours if thats any help..

when i bought my cab last year my ins company switched my insurance for one day.it cost me ?20 xtra :)

I added an extra car to my insurance for 7 days for ?16.

That gave me identical cover to my normal car.  i.e fully comp, glass etc.

i think that it would be easy to hire a car trailer to transport the other car to be on the safe side.
To do the timing belt you would need a bit of experience to do it with the manual and if you can't do it then i would recomend that you use your local garage to to the timing belt.
