ok just sum questions i got
when towing a car does the car been towed need to be insured
also can I get insured for 1 day or for a couple of hours
if so how much is this roughly
because they is a golf goin on here i want and its in manchester
n i want it off the road for a couple of month
and also how easy is it to do timing
-
i'd assume that any car rolling along a road needs to be taxed and insured.
insurance short term might be pricy.
another option could be to use a trailer?
probably cost as much to hire one as it would to insure etc..
-
i got insured on my bosses merc for ?40 for 24 hours if thats any help..
-
when i bought my cab last year my ins company switched my insurance for one day.it cost me ?20 xtra :)
-
I added an extra car to my insurance for 7 days for ?16.
That gave me identical cover to my normal car. i.e fully comp, glass etc.

i think that it would be easy to hire a car trailer to transport the other car to be on the safe side.
To do the timing belt you would need a bit of experience to do it with the manual and if you can't do it then i would recomend that you use your local garage to to the timing belt.
hope this helps
