Title: is the price worth it for BBS RA's
Post by: wilson on 29 May 2009, 12:00: Set of 15 BBS RA's reasonable condition, kerbing on the edge lip... with 4 good tyres.. guy wants £200

Is it a fair - good price ?

Last year I picked up a set with NO kerb damage and a full set of matching toyo's that still had the lines of paint across the tread for £200

If you have the luxury of time on your side they do come up at a good price occasionally.
It might be better in the long run to get some part worn 16's for your current rims and wait for a mint set of RA's. If you get some scabby ones you'll only end up getting them refurbed.

I should have taken them off when i sold the car. The guy totaled the car about 3 hours later.

bit off topic, but are you selling the black bolt covers seperatly because ive been looking for some recently :smiley:

I'm not sure what I'll get for it all but the lockers, centre caps (2 sets of 4) and wheel bolt covers (x16) will all be for sale (probably in seperate auctions) at the same time and I'll post it all on here. To be honest if someone does make me a decent offer I'll take it and stop the auction early, (I have 5 and will be selling a set of 4, unfortunately this one has a very slight buckle in it so it will be sold as a spare or binned but it does give an idea of the way they look !)
