Bought my GTi last week 7K on the clock 2006 and has slight bolster wear, previous owner never treated the leather. I recieved liquid leather cleaner and conditioner yesterday in the post so will do over the weekend. I will post before and after shots in a new thread to see if this stuff actually works.

As above, some TLC with liquid leather will soon sort them out.

If you have a sunroof, open it and lower yourself in using a hoist to prevent rubbing against the side bolsters, LOL!

I just cleaned and protected using a kit I got for our leather sofa....came up a treat. Wish I took before and after pics, but well worth the effort...couldn't believe the dirt that came off!

Got 6k on the clock, and never treated it.
Just bought some Turtle Wax Platinum Leather cleaner & conditioner. Dont usually get Turtle wax stuff, but this came recommended. Will stick some on over the weekend if I get time!

Well I went ahead today and its pretty good stuff!
Colour of the leather came out like new - its supposed to block UV rays etc, and stop the leather from drying out and cracking as well, so hopefully it will last a while between coats!
So far, so good!
