My problem from last week has escalated and now i cant even start my car. Its fouling up the plugs almost instantly when trying to start. i replaced both problem relays a few weeks ago and vag com said i needed a new lambda so its had a new one of them recently too.
anybody know what would cause it to dump fuel like that??????
HELLLLPPPPPPPPPPP
cheers all

ect sensor, wrong lambda sensor, be careful when buying a lambda theres a couple of different types
-
It was working fine with the new sensor, iv even tried disconnecting it and it still doesnt work.

I had a similar problem with mk2 8v. The ecu was faulty causing it to overfuel/flood and not start
-
yep hes right sounds like ecu mate ive seen it b4 on a 16v
-
Or possibly the fuel pressure regulator, wouldn't show as a fault on vag com
-
will the ecu fault show on vag-com?
I have tried swapping the ecu with another one but the immobiliser chip stops me from starting it. Anyway to bypass it?

Hi, with my ecu fault the fuel pump kept going rather than just prime itself prior to ignition. Do you hear your fuel pump stop and start?
