Post by: louis_23 on 27 May 2009, 22:23
my cat is foooked making a ratling noises after a mechanic looking at it other day he said i need a new one. i was thinking it would prob be cheaper for a D-cat pipe than it would a new cat pluss will sound better. and then in 12months time when m.o.t due may no some one who will turn a blind eye to the D-cat pipe. so basically guy's just after your opinions and surgestions and if poss recomendations on what D-cat pipe to get?

in that case then any decat pipe from ebay will do. At the end of the day a pipe is a pipe. About £30 from hottuning iirc.

Good recovery.

I do agree with wayne. I have a sports cat fitted, and its passed my mot's ok. Its more expensive. But its legal. And the traffic police can do emmisions tests on your car.
