Hi i was just wondering what the best 3 colours are for the mk2 golf. i know everyones start with there own but if you could not have yours what colour would it be? :grin:

silver - very rare
capri green - very rare
grey - horrible colour but looks good on mk2 golf !!

black or grey for me is the best shame they are harder to get! oak green are quite common and pretty nice

No no, ed1's came in it along with a small amount of Nile green.

preferences on colours change but I always tend to revert to alpine white, monza blue, tornado red, schwarz black....oh hell if it's clean/low/rimmed I like it whatever the colour.

I like Monza blue, silver and atlas grey best I think.

Although I'd not seen aubergine before, that does look stunning.

Tornado red looks amazing when it's in good nick, just too common though I think, sadly.

I'm trying to decide what shade of red to go for when I have Trev's bodywork done, might make a post about that lol.

Even tho i like Oak green, i love Royal blue metalic, but imo it's rocking horse which is prob why i like it. Edition 1 aubergene is also a fave i think for the same reason. :smiley:

And I can't remember the bloody name but a nice deep metallic pearly candy red the US had.

My Tornado Red MK2 is still RED and it's 18 yrs old  :tongue:

just had look round that site and it confirmed it for me, it is the ultimate mk2, closely followed by dubster2's alpine white mk2......( don't know how i could miss alpine white out of my fav mk2 colours ! ! ! )
