Hi,
Im also with HIC but have yet to send off my Agreed valuation stuff.
The agreed valuation package is an extra £11 I believe (I have paid it but havent got the car tip top to send off the pics)
Yo need all sides of the car or shall I say both sides and front and back
Inside the engine bay
and an interior shot
Its worth it as you can state what you believe its worth and if the agree it upon the condition etc it would pay to do it.

wot he said basically.
you send in upto 12 piccies.
explain what you have done, mods, rust treatment etc. and your VALUE.
they then assess it and either tell you to wake up and smell the coffee
or
Agree with your figure and you then have an Agreed Value policy.

ok thanks but do u have to send receipts for the stuff thats been done? what if they dont agree with the value u say do they say what thet think its worth then can u choose whether to accept or not?

Yep I would imagine that's how it would work. I took out an agreed value on mine with HIC 4 1/2 years ago when I bought it. I put my valuation at what I paid for it (over £3k) and every year since they have simply sent out new paperwork for me to complete with the same value on it each year. Personally I would have lowered it a little by now but I'm not gonna argue ;)

i didnt send reciepts, just piccies of the work i had done.
i wasnt OOT with my valuation, and am happy witht the figure

^ As above when I had the Rallye. They seem to know the rough guide, all done though Lancaster from what I remember!
