I am currently looking for a cheap set of bbs ra's to have refurbished for my 16v...
would 14's look too small on the big bumper model ?? I intend to go fairly low...
Anyone got any pictures of mk2 lowered on 14's ?
Thanks
Wilson

No way man, go for the 15's, I've got them on mine, and they are perfect.
I'm down pretty low as well, I can't even drive over a Coke can lying on it's side with out hitting it
Wouldn't really want to go any lower to be honest.
I'll see if I can get a decent picture for ya.

thanks for the opinions guys... I keep seeing 14's for sale just havent really seen them on a big bumper golf that I can recall, thats more what pictures i'm after.
I prob will stick with 15's but was just a thought as I keep seeing 14's second hand for sale... definately dont want the 16's in my signature... they're not horrible but just not my choice, they were on the car when i bought it.

I thought 15's were standard MK2 RA's?
15'' RA's 195.50 tyre. Lowered 60mm. Looked hard

Another question to add: Is it true that RA's need longer wheel bolts? A mate says they do. I think they dont as they were standard wheels!
