Title: Refurbishing alloy wheels.... anyone here in the trade?
Post by: mk2_singh_is_back on 26 May 2009, 23:28
I have a set of 4 15" BMW BBS alloys I need refurbed.

Also a set of 4 15" RS cosworth wheels bead blasted the guy who owns them will respray them himself once they are stripped down.

I also have a set of 4 15" ATS alloys which I want refurbed...

If you can bead blast alloys and strip the paint of them for me, I can do the rest.

Anyone here in the trade can drop me a PM, or reconmend anyone to get this job done?

I am based in Ilford Essex, looking for local businesses.

If you need to shift anodising I think the active ingredient in whatever chemical you choose to use is Lye/caustic soda.  Mr Muscle used to do the trick but they've gone all soft now and only do eco friendly chemicals.

Watch out though its burny burny on the skin.
