Title: whats this tube for?
Post by: nikkyboy on 26 May 2009, 12:49
Hi,

What's this tube for?  It pokes up, out of the driver side of the bulkhead. The pic below has been taken with big rubber air hose removed from the inlet manifold.  The cardboard hose on the right feeds (warm?) air into the bottom of the airbox.  Oh yeah, the cars an 8v digi.

It goes back with the fuel lines to the fuel tank. When I looked under the circular lift pump cover, in the boot, I found the other end, not connected to anything.  It stank of petrol so I'm guessing you're right, rubjohnny.
