Title: Aero wipers- the difference
Post by: Car nut on 26 May 2009, 12:36: Yes I've done a search and it says don't get Polo parts get touran rear blah blah......

By what is the difference to what's on the car as standard? :wink:

Did I mention 6 Days till I get my car now ! :grin: :grin:

the Polo and MKV rear wiper are EXACTLY THE SAME :nerd:

If you are able to get them cheap enough, go for the arms too, Ive got the retro fit and they dont look brilliant tbh

If they aren't in stock then the polo rear wiper part numbers are:

Arm: 6Q6 955 707A
Cap: 6Q6 955 435A
Blade: 6Q6 955 425A (Polo/Mk5 Golf)

You might need the shorter Polo wiper rather than the longer Touran one if you have a spoiler fitted...

Any idea how much this will cost from a dealer? It's something I've been meaning to do for ages now!
Also, how easy is it to replace the arm?
