Title: Vag-com worth getting?

Hi, just been lookin around the threads, about this vag-com, is it worth getting, I ashume you connect it to a laptop. anyway my cars fine at the moment, but would like it incase it goes wrong.... where do u get them from? ebay?

I bought this one and its great. Works with vag.com with no issues.

You can down load a non comercial version from Rosstech for nothing.

I have had vag-com for about 3 years now and it really is an in-valuable tool. We have 2 gti's and my step son has a polo and is probably the single most useful tool you can have for a vw.

Using the info VAG-COM returns, cross referenced to elsawin.. there is basically nothing the stealership can do that you cant..

cheers for that an do i just download it on to my laptop an install like any other programe i have never used vagcom before is it simple enough to use an this website rosstech is it .co.uk or .com

I have cable from e bay and use release 409-1 vag com  :smiley:
