just took off my drivers side front wheel bearing, try to tap out the stub axle to get to the circlip and outer race is still stuck to the stub axle.the other parts not a problem. any one no the best way to get this off.
thanks grahm

tried a chisel?.

the abs plate is in the way?

The best way is to get the hub off and drive the bearing out with the proper machine. Chiselling it out and a similar manner back in with the new one could end in disaster if not now, then later.

I cut a groove in it with a grinder then used a bearing puller to remove it, You can remove them by cutting most of the way through with the grinder then shocking it with a chissel to crack it off.
