Title: Forge Twintercooler or CAI? S3 cooler and Carbonio is there.
Post by: Peskarik on 24 May 2009, 21:51
Today it was 35 degrees Centigrade on the road, and the car feels sluggish.

Now I thought about the following,
having Edition30 with S3 intercooler and Carbonio intake, would it be more beneficial to add Forge Twintercooler to the setup, or replace Carbonio with something like Neuspeed CAI and not add Twintercooler?  :undecided:

Ultimate set-up would be the S3 intercooler, a forge Twintercooler and a CAI.

Failing that I would opt for the Forge Twintercooler and the CAI.

Neuspeed, EVOM's or Dbilas are all good CAI's.

I would get access to vcds then data log the car to check the intake air temperatures.
If your S3 cooler is keeping the temperatures firmly in order then go for the CAI, if not, then go for the twintercooler.

How hot?!   Last time I looked Switzerland was in Europe - not the tropics

Or are you somewhere exotic?

No joke, 28, then 35 degrees for two days, then 29.  Yesterday evening was raining. Today it was 10 degrees.
It is Zurich, Switzerland.
