Title: Golf Mk2 Carpet

Looking into stripping out the rear of my Mk2 and adding a Rear Polished Brace but I would like to put carpet all the way into the boot, any advice for this on how to make it look as neat as possible on the join from the original to the new back area?

Also the best place to get carpet from?

Go to a local friendly carpet shop , not carpet right  and see if they have a off cut in the colour you want then lay it in back of golf and you could get the edges bound to stop em fraying , Speak to carpet shop again hope this helps
