Title: C&R Enterprises - Quality
Post by: Madone_si on 11 August 2004, 16:32
Well what can I say about C&R Enterprises. They have to be the best VW specialist and the longest running VW specialist around.

Steve the main man there has done it all to all water cooled VW's. If you not sure about something they will advice you without pushing you to buying from them either or have the work done by them.

I've used this company over the last 7 years for advice and on my cars, they know they stuff...

Steve also provides the Q&A for various VW magazines, - The Golf, VWM, etc..

I can second this opinion. Had my brakes uprated by these Guys. First class service, and even worked short notice on a saturday morning for me.

Have already bought Vibra-technics mounts and recently my Konis from C&R there advise was EXCELLENT on ALL different kits available, they were really friendly and helpful i'll be defo buying more from them

And as for mentioning Time Wasters I guess we all get them in different lines of work and I guess we all get the hump with them and mutter something (it may even have been a rep trying for business?)

Do C&R do bodywork and paint touch ups? Got a dent that needs sortin and a couple of small bubbles. Are they pricey?

Just adding to the above really, very helpful and prepared to give advice. I asked them a lot of questions on the phone and they took the time to explain everything I needed to know and I was only buying a thermostat, a nice change from the people that just want to get your money then get you off the phone !

C&R recently had my valver for major work (some rewiring, full exhaust, top end rebuild, some work to the bottom end, cat 1 alarm and various other bits and bobs). All I can say is that they did an absolutely fantastic job and the car runs beautifully now. Steve was happy to chat and discuss and show me all the work that was done.

The only thing that was a little disappointing was that it took two weeks instead of one. I'd recommend these guys to anyone, although they are a little expensive (though you get what you pay for in my book!).
