Title: Wheels Refurbed This Week
Post by: Ivor Mk4 Turbo on 23 May 2009, 17:02: After 'pikey-ing' around with odd colour wheels for 6 months, I finally got around to getting my Superleggera's done this week. Although I've got them back in a colour I didn't settle on (Hello, Northeast, lol! :D), I'm still chuffed to bits with them. I was torn between Shadow Chrome, Titanium & Hyper Silver. I eventually settled for Hyper Silver, but I think I've got Titanium back. I never noticed until I put them back on the car today! :rolleyes: :D

Before; With 3 tatty silver wheels, 1 gunmetal one, odd/corroded centre caps & over-heated, red front calipers:-

I got the 2 front Dunlops off a mate who works at a tyre place. Only paid £30 for the pair, which was a cracking deal considering they had 6-7mm on them!!

In all honesty, I wasn't expecting much, but I must say the dry & wet grip is excellent. I haven't noticed any extra road noise or anything, & I'll keep my eyes on the wear rate for you. :afro:
