Post by: difficultrogue on 23 May 2009, 12:28
Just doing a wheel refurb to my factory wheels ( called luguna`s - I think ) But while the wheels are off I will be doing a full clean on the arches, Calipers, springs Etc. & I am wanting to give my calipers a coat of colour - Trouble is what colour? Has any one got colour on your calipers - Im not sure what colour goes with the maroon red of the body work!"£$%

IMO if your running huge brakes, then yes red looks awesome. if not your just drawing attention to the fact you have tiny brakes!
besides, red calipers (and even worse, drums)are becoming very chav indeed....

if it were me id go with the first suggestion, black or silver.

The disks and calipers fill the wheel nicely. They aint small and don't look chavy

I say red....my old golf had them and my passat has them (although they look lost behind 18's..even with 280mm discs)
