were is the ecu on a mk2 gti 1.8 8v cant find it ???

Open the bonnet, its under a flimsy plastic cover on the driver's side as far back and as far left as you can get (looking from the front towards the back that is).

cant find it is it under a plate that bonded down  it not that little thing with  a plug on a bracket

Yes, under the metal plate, the small bit on the top is just the ignition pack.

its a d reg's with a ev engine on a kjet.sorted it now no fuel gettin in it was the relay thanks any way..

dosent have an ecu,  just   vac advance dizzy
