Title: Just bought my mk2 gti today!!

Hi everyone,

I'v just bought a mk2 gti and i can't wait to get started on it!!

I've had quite a few cars before including a mk4 gti but this was the car that got me into cars and have always wanted one. So as a mid 20's crises i bought an '88 gti 8v small bumper. I have plans for it and know you guys give great advice!!

I'll put some pics up soon.

I'm from East London btw!

Thanks for the welcome guys.

I stripped out the interior over the weekend and am starting to build up so probs be diving around the tech section for awhile!

Nice one fella, i used to have the big bumper version and loved it but  had to sell it a few years ago.
I have just bought a 52 plate gti 2.0 and im trying to post a thread, how do you do it, am i being stupid?
