It's for sale near where I live, but he wants silly money for it ... opinions on the wheels, they are 20 inch, not sure of the make though.
I think they look quite sweet, never seen a GTI with 20 inch before.

Looks very nice. They fitted those wheels to the A6/A8 if I'm right.
I think they look good on the car. The black inserts contrast well with the white car  :smug:

WRONG (imho) - nice car let down by awful wheels :(
Don't like the A8 wheels....

Awful wheels!

I feel really sorry for Tim Burton who spend about £4000 getting a genuine set for his Bora, they looked amazing back in the day.
Then some chinese idiot thought it'd be a great idea to start copying all Audi wheels, so now they just look cheap.
Sorry mate, they do look good on your car, but the copies have ruined them for me.

Ditch those 20s, go with original 18 Monzas, far more classy. Or something with big lip, like Oettinger classic RE:

or these new wheels from B&B Automobiltechnik, for example:

I think they look better on a Mk 5 than a Mk 4! :undecided:

Still, its like saying sick looks better on a woman than a man!

I think they look ok, would be better if they were smaller.

Ok, I get the message ... they look sh$t.
It's not mine ... like I originally said, it is for sale at a place that is restoring my 1957 Vespa.
I have a Mark V GTI ... and it's got 18 inch Monza's.
To be fare, he is selling it with the original 18 inch Detriots (Black in color, which was an option here in Italy), And also a set of 19 inch BBS.

Go for the 18" or the BBS rims.......a much better option.
