Hi all. I have the recaros in my 1.8t and my heated seats worked wen i bought the car on the way home.
The folowing day i fitted my sub in the boot which i had in my mk4 1.4. Since then my seats havent wrked and up until now i thought it may be coincidence that both my elements have gone at the same time. Evry other electrical thing is spot on. Has any1 had problem like this? Also just to add... My fuses are fine but sum1 at my wrk said. That there is a fuse under the seat but i havent heard bout that. Sorry for the masive post ha ha. One more thing wen 4 fitted my wires through i took out my glove box and at the top underneith my actual dash theres a plug which isnt pluged in. Have i knocked this out or sumthin takin tge glove box out. Fort it may have sumthin do with dat or the passenger air bag. Any help would b appreciated.Cheers manny

I have the same problem, both seats don't work.
If you look under the seat there is a green plug, you could check if you are getting power to the seats there with a meter.

cant help you mate but i have the same problem.
the car has done 37000 miles when i brought it, and since then it has never worked, checked all fuses but nothing.

as said check for voltage at the plugs to see if you have power there, if you do you know it's the fault of the heating elements (very common)

thanks!
Guess you disconnect the batterry before unplugging the connector from the seat?
-
no you should be ok, just make sure you don't disconnect the airbag one by mistake (yellow one)
