Hi all,
Have had a search, but cant seem to find much on this.
1. When rooting around under my lower dash last week I found an isolated inline fuse (which had gone - replacement made no difference to anything?) - are there any other fuses on the car which are not in the fuse box? I am trying to source why none of my dash lights work as well and want to know whether a fuse might be part of this.
2. Also, with the clocks' earth (which may be the culprit) where does this run off the clocks? is it part of the copper strip of wires or a separate wire (which I can therefore try and earth somewhere else e.g. bulkhead...?
Any help would be great, I would like to tackle removing the dash surround to get to the clocks this weekend...
Thanks.

in a mk2 all the fuses are in the same place or at least they should be if there not on the fusebox they are added in extras.
sadly meany mk2's have multi immobiliesr and alarm installs quite often on top of each other and the hole lot is normaly disabled anyway. i pulled out half a bin full of wire from alarms and immobs when had my dash out

Thanks Danny, thought it could be somthing like this - any ideas about the earthing for the clocks?

the only aux fuses i can think of are:
electric windows
fog light on pre-90 models
heated seats
these fuses are cliped onto the top of the fusebox though, not inline hanging about under dash. as for earthing, have a read of the fusebox faq, brown wires generally earth :)
