Title: cam pulley

i noticed that my cam pulley runs like a buckled wheel and there is a tappet noise could this be just the pulley or more likely a bent cam (1.9td) the its a recon head everything in it is new cept the cam

Eeek, its not going to last long like that! Cam's are cast, they don't really buckle - they just break.

Get the rocker cover off and check that a bearing cap isn't loose/snapped.

There's also a chance that the cam gear isn't sat square on the cam itself - check the woodruff key is properly lined up and the securing bolt is torqued up properly. But I'd have the rocker cover off first.
