Title: It broke (again)
Post by: T_J_G on 17 May 2009, 16:39
Was on my way to work and Coil Pack 2 decided to commit suicide. Waited an hour for RAC but luckily he had one on him (not gen VW though)

Really annoying though. Stupid b***** car!

All sorted now so looking into what to treat it to...

What to treat it to???

If your child broke something would you buy them a new toy???

Feed it 95 ron petrol and treat it like the b%^&h it is for a few days, that'll show her!!!

No chance! The part they put in has a 12 month warranty. May buy one from vw to fit and then keep the non gen one in the boot for when i next break down
Are you gonna replace all of them Tim?

Lol, yeah i've kept the 4 i took out (even though one is goosed) and might pop one of the working ones in the boot just in case, even though all 4 are now new! Wasn't a massively expensive job tbh and took all of 10mins to replace

It's easy to say that, my monthly wage (after insurance) is about the price of four genuine VW coilpacks.
