Title: setup for the track and road
Post by: Diluxe on 17 May 2009, 15:15
think of tracking my 16v this year, and if moneys not to tight, to the ring aswell.

As its my daily drive, what setup do you guys recommend, i'm not looking at any more power, but would like it to handle and stop well.

I would say i've got about 700 quid max to spend on mods.

All suggestions greatly appreciated

decent tyres, good second hand ARBs and the rest on suspension.
Thats what i would do.

As for brakes just get some good pads and discs and you should be ok.

Good tyres.

Strut braces as they are cheap and effective. Good suspension, shock and spring kit. maybe 40mm down or something.
