Hi people, I have just bought my first mk2 gti 16v only this week from my cuz. (he is also a member of the site; Bjork)
I am interested in fitting a front upper strut brace to the gti and just needed a few questions clearing up; where is the best place to pick one up, how easy are they to fit, do I need to move engine parts or do I need to drill any holes etc?
Also I would like to replace the orange indicator lenses within my bumper.(big bumper) and also the side repeater lenses; once again, where can I get hold of some, are they easy to replace and is there any additional wiring needed? :undecided:
Cheers

front upper strut brace is simples  just need to drill a couple of holes.. if you buy the correct one they clear everything in the bay. if you have got some dollar get an eibach one. or there are cheaper on on ebay.
clear bumper indicators are stright swop, some of them have differnt connections, but most fit stright on to the original connection

I got one of these http://www.awesome-gti.co.uk/product.php?xProd=3571&xSec=124 very easy to fit will only take 30/45 min. Have not noticed any differance since I fitted it. Some people seem to think the 4 point lower strut brace is more benifical if you've not got PAS. Does look good though.
