I went to the local scrappy to see if i could find anything useful- particularly a mk2 small red stripe bumper. I was having a nose around a D plate Golf GTD and I couldnt beleive my eyes when I looked inside!!!!!!! It had rear headrests!!! Ive been after these for donkeys years and they had always eluded me because of the cost. Id even collected spare headrest covers many many years ago! Anyway, £10 later and they were mine!
Well happy!

Haha good find man, wish my scrappy visits were as fruitful :( lol
-
things like that never happen though. Ive seen the only Turbo Technics Santana scrapped there, and found all sorts in the past- just wish Id kept a bit more!
-
Wish the scrappies round here were any good, I'm on the hunt for the elusive 3-door black mk2 passenger door :(

Last time I phoned 'em (after you told me first time) they said they didn't

Actually, saying that, I think it was a black one he was trying to get an engine mount off of for me a few months ago (remember I told ya bout that G60 one I took back to GSF??) If it's that one, it's got another car on top of it

Show off :P even though you don't use it ;)

the engine was out already
ive found many things over the last 6 years and ended up selling most when times were hard, or i changed my mind on the final spec. Ive been lucky and found much on the average dubbers wish list

My best find was a complete electric mirror setup for a mk2, also had some mk4 rear calipers
