Title: "SERVICE NOW" Mark 4 GTI 1.8 T - Help please removing!

Hi, is there a manual way i can remove the "service now" coming up on my dash without connecting to diagnostics? Thanks!

Hey there Saalro,

No need for diag - There's a way to do it by pressing a few buttons on the dash...   I'm at work at the mo so don't have the details...   I'll get back later with the info you need..

Look in your owners manual iv seen it in there before, something like ignition off hold mileage reset button down switch ignition on and hold for 10sec then release when you hear a tone.

Was there ever an answer to this question? I have a 1999 20v non turbo and can not get rid of the service message. I have tried to reset as per the manual but no luck so far.
