Does n e 1 know how 2 take the dash out?
and the bar behind the rear seats is that there 4 any reason or can i cut it out?

depends what MK1 it is. If its a cab leave well alone thats the strength to the car.

what part od the dash?
as 8v said never touch that bar on a cab or you will kill it on the first bump you hit

yeah it is a cab, wont b taking that out.
i want 2 take out the dash so i can spray it white and fit some other bits on it

two bolts either side of the black top part of the dashboard youll see them when you open the doors in the corner. the trim at the front needs to come off, cross head screwdriver. the bottom section that covers the front bar is kept in place by black circular clips, push the inner bit out there are about 8 of em scattered around, remove them and the bottom section will come off.
